Blockchain and decentralized systems Volume 1

At the present time, people are under threat of control by major centralized digital systems. Decentralization is an alternative solution to solving many of humanity’s challenges, in particular ensuring the freedom of access to public data and the transparency of accounting processes.
The study guide gives an insight into the capabilities of blockchain technology, principles of operation of decentralized accounting systems as well as features of reaching consensus in a decentralized environment.

What do readers say

The book has a comprehensive and concise structure. Reading it is the right (and essential) step for those who want to have an accurate understanding of blockchain.

Before this book, the coolest thing I had read were only Princeton lectures.

Although ideas and algorithms embedded in blockchain and cryptocurrency have been discussed in the scientific community for several decades, the industry is still young and even the oldest cases of blockchain application date back less than two decades. During this time, there have been several open courses as well as courses in universities. And now, finally, a course that can be used in higher educational institutions of our country has emerged. Distributed Lab does not pursue hype but rather works for many years to come. The material they have prepared is, on the one hand, simple and easy to understand, and on the other, it has the depth that would allow students who studied the book to actively apply the technology in their projects as well as tokenize existing businesses.
